  • You will find the Normal button in the status bar as well. Click on it and switch to Normal view.

Follow the steps given below to remove the page numbers in the Page Break Preview mode:

  • Open the View tab.
  • Check if the Page Break Preview mode is activated in the Workbook Views menu.

  • You need to switch from Page Break Preview mode to Normal Mode for the removal of Page numbers and for this:
  • Open the View tab.
  • Click on the Worksheet Views menu and choose the Normal option. The default worksheet view will appear and there will be no more page numbers on the sheet.

Remove Page Numbers from Page Break Preview with Status Bar

Using the Status Bar, you can easily remove the page numbers in the Page Break Preview mode. If the Page Break mode is activated your sheet will appear as the following image:

  • On the bottom right side of the sheet, you can notice the Page Break Preview button, which is selected.

  • Switch to the Normal mode to remove the page number.

And for this,

  • Click on the Normal sheet view button.

  • Now, you are switched to Normal mode from the Page Break Preview mode. All the page numbers will be removed from the sheet.
